All of my onions are up!
All twelve of my onions are up! The seed packet said germination could take up to 14 days, so my heat mat really sped things up. I love seeing new seedlings make their way out of the soil (and checking on them 200 times a day 😂). Next up: figuring out how to cold stratify…

Blue Jays!
We had a few visitors at the bird feeder this morning, including three Blue Jays! They don’t sit still long, so I had to snap this very quickly before it flew off again (which is why it’s a touch blurry). Have you had Blue Jays at your feeder?

And the first seeds are in soil! I started with these Cortland Onions from High Mowing today. When I originally purchased these, I thought I was ordering sets (and clearly didn’t read the website carefully 🤦♀️), so I’ll be interested to see how the seeds do instead! Have you planted anything yet?
