My green thumb was itching, but it’s way too early to start any of my seeds, so I ordered a mushroom growing kit from Grow Mushrooms Canada. 🍄
So far, it seems pretty easy — the kit came with a humidity tent and misting bottle along with the block with the mushrooms. All we had to do was cut open the block, mist it a bit, and set up the humidity dome on top. I’ll admit that the dome was more finicky than I thought it would be, but they have a helpful video on their website to help you get it into the right shape.
Now to wait ~two weeks for some pretty yellow oyster mushrooms!
Have you ever tried growing mushrooms before? I think I’ve caught the bug — I ordered wine caps for planting in the garden this spring too!
