Glad you put Terra Edibles on top. Owner Karyn Wright is a friend (since high school!), and I know she's passionate about her business.

My sage looks about the same as yours, I harvested a bunch of it along with some rosemary on the weekend to use in a dinner - I'm enjoying this mild winter we've had so far. I'm hoping that we don't end up getting a cold snap... all my spring bulbs are starting to sprout!

I like your pumpkin experiment.

[...] This morning after I dropped Nate off at daycare I was outside putting some garbage and recycling out. Graham moved the garbage bins out of the garage over to the side yard, so I had to go back there for the first time in a long while to put some garbage in the bins in their new location. This drew me to the garden, and I took some time to wander around to see what was happening out there. There are still plants alive back there! I went back into the house to get the camera and took some photographs to document what’s happening in the garden this January. [...]

This is really an interesting idea, I have never had any animals or birds i my backyard. I always thought it would be very troublesome.. The kid is now growing up so i would say i can definitely try it now.

Guide me, are these birds pose any threat to small kids, i mean infections wise? coz getting fresh food is certainly a temptation for me!

Wow, 32 of them! That's fabulous, your plants must really have enjoyed growing right in the compost. I didn't grow any squash this year and I really missed them. Next year!

Hi, I was so excited to see our squash plant!! I compost, our friends and I purchase bushels of produce for our long winters here in upstate NY. Seeds from one of our composted squash blossomed from our composted dirt. This summer a vine popped up around our tomato plant, between June and Today Oct 13th we have harvested 32 of these Muscade squash, we could not find out it's name until today, a friend saw one of our squash at a farm stand under heirloom pumpkins, I googled heirloom pumpkins found out it's name then on to you!!! I have saved some seeds to actually plant next summer. Is 32 squash from one vine normal? Thank you, Cynthia
