Nancy was it catNIP or catMINT you planted? I have a bit of both and it’s definitely catnip, Nepeta cataria, that they really go for!

I can’t blame them for making your house Party Central. I planted some catmint in a small container this year, and though my kitty has enjoyed the occasional nibble, I didn’t thin the plants out and they’re only a foot high or so, and won’t bloom, I’m sure. I am going to dry some of the leaves just the same.
