This photo was taken last May, when I had arugula, lettuce and cabbage growing inside my row greenhouse. I put it together for 2008 yesterday, and although there is nothing yet growing inside, it is a hopeful sight in the vegetable garden. I hope soon to have radishes, beets, carrots and peas growing inside.

I’m so impressed. I always just wait until the weather is warm enough to do without the greenhouse. I guess that’s the benefit of living in Virginia. All my veggies can go in May 1 and I don’t have to worry about frost.
I just planted peas today. It’s a first for me, so I’m a little nervous.
I’m impressed by anyone who can plant things without killing them.
And your greenhouse is truly impressive.
Amy, this is impressive and inspiring — and a great photo! It would be ideal for a calendar. I look forward to seeing the progress of your row greenhouse plants this season.
This image will spur me on today as I work in a down jacket in cold April showers. I need to prep my balcony (create more room for future pots of veggies and herbs, do a clean-up of current plants) and looking at this gives me motivation.
I’ll check out your 101 articles later today, too.
I missed this post last week, so happy current Green Thumb Sunday!
