Bronze Amaranth

Lemon Basil
Lemon Basil seedlings. I grew nine of these so I could donate a few to the COG plant auction in May.

"Ruby Red" Swiss Chard
“Ruby Red” Swiss Chard. I don’t really like eating this much, but it’s such a beautiful addition to the garden. I love how the first set of true leaves already look “swiss-chardy.”

Oh, I love chard! It’s my favorite green. Your seedlings look like they’re thriving.

Are you growing the amaranth as an ornamental or an edible? Good looking seedlings :)

I’ll take your chard–I love it, but not often. Happy GTS,

I love chard. I hide it in things like chili and spagetti sauce. The family never knows.

I got the widget reinstalled into my blog (Blogger had a good day and let me edit my layout) and it seems to be working fine again.
Those are very happy seedlings…please send spring our way, as we’re getting tired of shovelling snow and would like to shovel dirt instead. ;-)

I’m so glad you posted this!! I started some seedlings inside this year, but wasn’t smart enough to label them… and the Amaranth and Basil are two of them!
