Hot days and now it is 40F (sorry, can't remember my conversion to Celsius). I too just harvested the motherload of peppers - for fear of them freezing tonight. I plan to roast my green chile's later this afternoon. How do you roast your tomatoes? Do you can them afterwards? I have been a canning guru lately and am ready for a break.
