Now this is a girl who knows how to trade.

by Amy on February 27, 2007

I am almost always pleasantly surprised to receive a package of seeds in the mail, even when I’m expecting them.  Most of the time they come in a pretty little card, with a thoughtful note and the seed packets.

Today I received an envelope from Melamalie in Toronto, and the most beautiful card was inside.  I love hydrangeas, and this card reminds me of our wedding and the look and feel I had tried so hard to accomplish for that day.

She wrote an extended note inside all about the seeds that she had sent me, where they were originally from, and wrote detailed growing instructions on each of the envelopes.

Thanks, Mel!  Seed swappers, take note.
