Freecycled Plant Stand

Someone offered up a brass plant stand on Freecycle recently, and I took it off her hands. Of course, most items gifted via Freecycle are gifted sight-unseen, so you’re basically taking your chances that the “gift” you’re “receiving” won’t be in the same vein as that ugly pair of socks from Aunt Edna last Christmas (incidentally, no, I don’t have an Aunt Edna).

So I took my chances on the plant stand and it isn’t the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen, but it does need a coat of paint. This summer I’ll treat it to Tremclad and use it on the deck.
