Seedy Saturday, Oshawa

by Amy on February 3, 2007

Seeds of Diversity is holding its annual “Seedy Saturday” in Oshawa this year on February 10 at Parkwood Estate.  That’s just a week away!  This is an event I have often intended to attend, but never managed to, even when I lived in Toronto and would have had the pleasure of meeting up with some fellow YGG members.

This week I need to go through my seed collection and see what I have to trade that fits in line with Seeds of Diversity’s objectives to “search out, preserve, perpetuate, study, and encourage the cultivation of heirloom and endangered varieties of food crop”.

Looking forward to going and hopefully trading for some good new heirloom vegetable seeds.
