Trippy Tomato Salad

by Amy on August 22, 2005

I brought this along with me to a party in Lakeport on Friday night. I grew them all in the garden.

(L to R): lemon boy, purple prince, cherry, yellow pear-shaped (which ended up being grape-shaped), orange pole and pink ponderosa. I tucked genovese, purple and cinnamon basil among the slices and garnished the plate with nasturtiums.

That’s beautiful! My yellow pear-shaped ones are grape-shaped too, but oh so delicious. This weekend I did a greek salad that was pretty colourful too. Hooray and nice work!

yum! we just moved so we didn’t have a veggie garden this year. we had to rely on the kindness of strangers for tomatoes this year.
