On Sunday I drove to Toronto to meet up with some people from You Grow Girl to attend the Harbourfront Herb Fair. It definitely felt like a field trip! I think I exercised excellent restraint, spending under $20 on plants. I bought a lemon cucumber, German chamomile, wild bergamot, a self-seeding marigold that Gayla recommended as well as a “Filbert” scented geranium. I also acquired an eggplant and winter squash from Sakura and a scented geranium cutting from Gayla (which isn’t too happy right now).
After shopping we walked over to the wetlands park and the music garden. I took lots of pictures, which you can peek at here.
I managed to get a nice sunburn on my shoulders. I’ve been lathering aloe gel on them ever since, in the hopes I can avoid peeling later.

Wow! Looks like you all had a blast! And you definately showed some restraint only buying that much;)
Keep the geranium in a shady spot until it gets roots. What happened to the borage? -Gayla
It’s in a flower bed at the back. Geranium in the shade! (Indoors, actually.)
