I finally got outside yesterday afternoon and got the yard cleaned up in preparation for winter. Brought all of the pots in, patio furniture into the garage, bbq covered, leaves raked, cannas pulled up, annuals pulled out…it all looks much better now and I don’t feel like such a slacker in the garden anymore. It was especially nice to have a helper (new man in my life enjoys doing yard work…does it get any better? ha).
The grass is all still very green and growing these days. No sign of any snow yet, although last year by this time we’d had a good snowfall. I’m not complaining, though. It’s been a lovely mild autumn.
I may not have too much to post over the next few months, but I assure you I’ll be back posting regularly when spring comes this way again.
