My Christmas cactus, purchased last December at Loblaws, was pretty unhappy about six months ago. I cut it back, watered it and set it outside on the front porch for the summer. I watered it moderately and it perked up, sprouting several sets of new leaves. A couple of weeks ago I brought it inside into the front foyer, an area that gets indirect natural light. I went away for a week. When I returned there were new buds on it! It’s going to flower! Hooray.
A Proud Moment

Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.
