This morning I made a simple pesto from the basil in the back garden, garlic and olive oil. I’m freezing it in an ice cube tray, and will pop the cubes out and store in a ziplock in the freezer to use in sauces and stuff over the winter. I also blanched a bunch of basil and put it in a ziplock between sheets of paper towel. This is the first time I’ve done this, so we’ll see how it all works out!
Very hazy and humid the last few days.
