We’ve had a couple of hot, humid, sunny (smoggy) days, so a few plants have sprung into action. Clematis is about to burst into bloom! There have been two poppies, the little Carpathian bellflower Mom have me is in bloom, and the currant tomato is blooming as well. The annuals are loving the weather, of course. I’ve brought in some cosmos and put them in a mason jar and they look so pretty in the kitchen! Lupine has a bud, too, which is a first for me.
