Work is going well, but I haven’t had as much time to spend in my own garden. One of the big bonuses working in a garden centre is the freedom to “shop” for my space all day long! I’m constantly thinking of the plants and how they would look in parts of my yard. Yesterday I brought home some Alchemilla mollis (Lady’s Mantle) for the backyard and a yellow-flowering groundcover to plant in the stump out front. It should spread quickly and trail down the edges.
Now this Saturday morning it is time to relax with my coffee and my newest copy of Gardening Life before I head outside to mow the lawn. Later on I’ll be visiting the Parkdale plant sale.
