I just went outside to putter around and a few hours later I had done this. I used some of the scrap wood that was in there originally to block off the bottom of the fence, sort of “boxing in” the area. I went over to Loblaw’s and picked up 12 bags of black earth topsoil, added a little peat and voila…a new bed. I want to find some big stones to make a little path down the centre for access to the plants. Not sure what I’m going to put in yet, but likely some strawberries and maybe some sunflowers along the fence. Could make a nice herb space. Hmmm….
